Taking over from where Skinny Erics left off, the existing bike shop at 16 Felstead Street was purchased by Alex on 7th March 2018, starting a brand new chapter that is Frankenbike.
The idea for the shop was incepted during Alex’s Transcontinental Race experience in 2016. Leaving the rat race behind, Alex decided to start his own shop in order to bring the joy of cycling at its basics to more people and provide a much more accessible service to those wanting to start out cycling or to enable people to continue riding and enjoying their bikes.
The motto has always been to provide honest and transparent advice as well as affordable servicing and repairs.
The shop has been continuously trading since 2018 and has served thousands of customers over this time.
